If COOKSMART needs to cancel part or all of a program because of a public health mandate due to COVID-19, COOKSMART will provide all customers with a full refund of the duration of cancellation (pro-rated if the program has already begun).

COVID-19 Conditions:

This policy will be updated in June before camp starts to ensure compliance with the most current conditions and recommendations from Peel and Halton Public Health.

We will always follow the COVID-19 Policies and Mandates provided by Peel and Halton Public Health for Summer Day Camps.

This summer, we will highly recommend wearing masks when we are preparing food and working in close proximity, such as in the kitchen. For other activities, mask wearing will be optional. There will be increased sanitizing of shared equipment, and high touch surfaces, in addition to smaller ratios for activities (1 staff: 5 campers), as well as adherence to guidelines for campers showing any signs of sickness, and our drop off/ pick up for parents will minimize contact.

Daily health checks should be done, and any participant who has symptoms of COVID-19 should stay at home.
